It has now become a collection of posts about homesteading, chickens, hiking, farming, ag equipment, drinking problems, homeschooling, food, and general family misadventures. Also lots of pictures. We are Bert & Jess. Introverts. Veterans. (Relatively) new parents. Travel enthusiasts. Reluctant cat owners. We left our normal (ish?) life in 2018 to live/work aboard a flatbed and travel the country full time, at full speed.....like crazy people. Since then, we have moved to hauling refrigerated goods, and I (Jess) have joined in on the driving. Soooo, we're continually blasting from one side of the country to the other, trying to figure out a balance between sleep, finances, getting outside, being parents, running freight, sightseeing, and staying hydrated. 😳
